"I liked
the fact that enough
material was discussed so that
the principles can be adapted to most organizations and
industries."

Look around your home. Think
about things you do that waste time or require excess movement. Are
there tedious or duplicative steps you take each day?
- What about all the areas you use
in your home?
- Are there areas that slow your
ability to finish projects or complete tasks?
- No organization is 100 percent
efficient. Sure, some believe they are, but if you ask a variety
of people each who define their home tasks differently, you will
be sure to be given a contrasting response.
- When you move away from the "If
it ain't broke, don't fix it" mentality you will be able to
begin realize the processes and tasks as done now are wasteful.
- If you can shave minutes off of
your day, a few dozen minutes a week, you end up with a few hours
a month, and suddenly you have entire days to personally reach out
to your family members, friends etc.
- As efficiency improves,
family members perceive more value, because people respond to personal
attention and targeted approaches.
